OTHER DIGITAL HOMAGES
Welcome to the newest page at the Digital Homage. A short explanation is neccessary:

I was thinking that the name of this site 'The Digital Homage to Back to the Future' is apt as it mainly deals with internet downloads (hence 'digital') that pay homage (hence, er, 'homage') to Back to the Future.
But - I thought - why should it stop there ? Why not have Digital Homages to any site that can offer downloads of any subject (within reason)?

So if you have a website that offers downloads around a common theme (a movie, a product, a TV show etc) and it hasn't got a name, how about calling it the 'Digital Homage to Scary Mission - The Return:Part II' or whatever ? Your site should be inoffensive, part of a webring, relate to a well known subject and not compete against another Digital Homages to the same subject (well can you imagine 2 Digital Homages to BTTF ?). The content and style is your own (I'm not that much of a megalomaniac). Why not email me to see if your site is worthy of being a 'Digital Homage' member (hey, I guess I am a megalomaniac). If successful, your site will have links from other Digital Homages and in turn you will link to these sites, in effect a Digital Homage webring.
The first 'Other Digital Homage' is here and it belongs to long time contributor Charlie Salvidge (his font and winamp skin can be found elsewhere on this site). It's the 'Digital Homage to Daft Punk' and you can reach it if you click the pic.
Armed with a copy of Paint Shop Pro and a few fonts I put together these logos for non-existent Digital Homages to The Matrix, Jurassic Park, Coca Cola and Tommy Hilfiger for inspiration:
Matrix Jurassic Park
Coke Tommy

I look forward to hearing from you and looking at your websites...
