A quick explaination: The links are not really in any particular order except maybe importance/relevance to BTTF. Any new links will have a 'NEW' picture at the top of the link (excluding those in the friends and acquaintances sections.)
LINKS
OK, before I start I know that 99% of you here will already know this site, but for the unenlightned 1%, here goes...Everything that goes on in the BTTF universe is here ! There's BTTF merchandise for sale, news on the proposed 2 new sequels (So little has been said recently, I think it may be off), lists of cast and crew biographies, information on filming locations, a message board, Pictures of Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly (before they hired M.J.Fox), DVD news...the list goes on and on. Also at BTTF.com: Kristen Sheley's website that has her excellent fan fiction and other bttf related information has changed from being spread over two 'net providers (and hosting their nasty ads !) to part of BTTF.com. You can now see her site at it's new home here...Keith Gow's site (A Trilogy Chronology) is now housed here too. It's the most original BTTF site around (possibly the most original film site, too). The site and his new column, Future Features, can be accessed from here....Mary Jean Holmes has written all sorts of fan fiction over the years, you can find all of her BTTF stories by clicking here. They're in Adode Acrobat (.pdf) format, but if you don't have it there are links from the site to Adobe, where you can download it....NEW at BTTF.com - There is now a huge gallery of pictures from BTTF, not stills but continuity shots that show little details that add to our understanding of the trilogy. For example you can see parts of Doc's labs or the town square in 2015 that were never seen on film.
The webmaster has decided to close the chatroom down due to a minority of users not abiding by the rules. You know who you are.
I don't post to the message board very much, but when I do, I use the name 'Jig'

Ebay is a huge, wordwide, online auction house - almost anything that you could want, someone is probably selling. You can bid from any country, but I've linked the search to BTTF items in my country and the rest of the world. It's worth re-searching often, as new stuff turns up every few days. Personally, I haven't bought from e-bay yet, although I did put a book up for auction (it didn't meet the reserve price, but at least I now have more experience with how ebay works.)
See what BTTF items are available in the UK and wordwide
The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) is probably the biggest movie site in the world. You can search for names (of cast and crew) or movie titles, you can review and rate movies, there's a list of films in production, movie of the day, etc, etc. Once you have a movie title, all other relevant information is just a click away - such as soundtrack information, goofs, links to other sites, filming locations etc, etc. It's possible to spend hours here !
This link brings up two links at the IMDb: one is for the movie, the other for the animated series.

Big Waste of Space present the Back to the Future Tour. See the filming locations as they are today at this site with comments by the author of the page. All the outdoor locations from part one are here such as the Mall that doubled as the 'Twin/Lone Pine Mall', Doc's Mansion (I've been to this one too, trivia fans!), Hill Valley High School and Marty's house. Some of the part two locations are here as well with more being promised in the future.
You can also join a mailing list that will tell you of any new additions that appear. For the sake of balance I also include this link which has similar content but is at BTTF.com
This site has information on lots of 'alternative' devices. It sells plans or sometimes complete units for items such as free energy devices, health tools, ufo's, lightsabers etc.
For the Future Fan, I give you:anti-gravity time travel hoverboard
This site says they've been researching hovering devices for some years now, and say they supply the plans for Future Horizons (above). In the 'projects' section they cover hoverboards (and have various theories to provide levitation), magnetic rockets and hover cars. There's a 'stories' archive with articles such as the hoverdecks recently seen at the Sydney Olympics. They have a 'forum' where you can read/ask/answer questions and comments other visitors have concerning the ground-breaking ideas raised. The 'multimedia' section will have flight simulators, hacker's corner and sci-fi movie stills.
I'm not really sure if these guys mean what they say, but they claim to be doing research into time travel. You can join them (free or paying membership) and they'll keep you updated as to what they've currently achieved. There's a wealth of information here, like what the physics involved in time travel are, and theories on multi-dimensions, wormholes and paradoxes. There's information on time travel in popular culture and you can buy lots of stuff from their shop. Bizzarely, there's also sections on two mystical gentlemen, and you can see the art that one of them produces. Personally, I'm not taking any chances with my money with them, but if you can shed more light onto these people and their activities, please get in touch.N.B.Not to be confused with www.timetravel.com ;-)
OK, I'm quite happy *where* this site is at the moment, but it doesn't hurt to look around. Anyway, on my travels I found this site. The name's for sale, so it's up for grabs for anybody that wants to pay for it. I wonder if he got the idea from me ;-)

Acquaintances of the Future
These look like they might have something to do with the trilogy, but in fact don't.
